There is a lot in store for Sporting Smiles in the coming months so be sure to stay tuned for any announcements that we make. Thanks for your understanding and enjoy!!
AEG President and CEO, Tim Leiweke has given Dominic Kinnear the green light to bring a big name to Houston. The Dynamo who are having a under-par season for their standards should start looking now for a DP that will have an impact both on the field and off it, next season. Their first attempt at this failed miserably with the signing on Landin, an experiment that ended in him being released earlier this season. Any ideas on who Houston should go after?
Thierry Henry officially becomes the second designated player to sign with the New York Red Bulls. Henry will join the list of high-profile players and hopefully draw new interest to the Red Bulls as well as the MLS as a whole. It is going to be amazing to see a player of Henry’s calibre who still has a lot to offer to the game of football. The transfer can only be approved after the window opens on July 15th and Red Bulls executives expect Henry to make his debut on the 22nd when they take on Tottenham in a friendly at Red Bull Arena. A full news conference is expected to be held on Thursday at 1:15pm EST.
