Michael Ballack is set to miss the World Cup after being injured against Portsmouth in the FA Cup final. Ballack, who is 33, was tackled recklessly by Kevin-Prince Boateng. After an MRI, it was revealed that Ballack sustained ligament damage to his ankle. Unfortunate news for both Germany and Ballack, for the captain will not be available for what could have been his final World Cup.
